Sani Konukoğlu, who experienced the difficulties caused by the lack of a modern health center equipped with modern technology in Gaziantep, started the establishment of SANKO University Hospital in 1993 and continued his work until he passed away in 1994. Realizing the ideal of Sani Konukoğlu, SANKO University Hospital, which his family put into operation in August 1996, is one of the largest health institutions brought to our country today.

The TS-EN ISO-9001 Quality System Certificate studies at the hospital, which is managed with a contemporary hospital management approach at national and international standards, were concluded in April 1998 and became the sixth hospital in Turkey to receive this certificate by TSE and the fourth hospital among private hospitals. In the face of intense demand, the construction of the additional building of the hospital, which was started in 2006, was completed in November 2009, in the 60,750 square meter working area, Coronary Intensive Care, Cardiovascular Intensive Care, each of which is under the supervision of doctors and nurses 24 hours a day, in which all kinds of life support are provided and the vital functions of the patients are constantly monitored. , Surgical Intensive Care, and Neonatal Intensive Care (36 fixed incubators, 3 transport incubators) units reached a total bed capacity of 114.

There are 6 examination rooms, 20 observation beds, 2 fully equipped intervention rooms, 1 resuscitation room examination rooms in the Emergency Service.

The hospital has 600 beds in two buildings, 2 fully equipped ambulances, 1000 personnel specialized in their fields, 120 polyclinic rooms, waiting rooms, a hall where all kinds of national and international meetings can be held, a cafeteria, a closed car park for 225 cars and an open car park for 50 cars in the basement. It has the capacity to respond to every need of its relatives.

SANKO University Hospital, which has been serving the people of the region since 1996, has crowned its service quality by signing the Cooperation and Common Use Protocol (Affiliation) with SANKO University, which was established in 2013, and has become an application and research center for SANKO University.
