In line with this responsibility and as a legal Data Controller within the framework of Turkish Criminal Code, Personal Data Protection Law numbered 6698, Regulation on the Processing and Protection of Personal Health Data, and other relevant legislation, we process your personal data as stated below.
Purposes of Collecting Personal Data
In order to provide higher quality services to patients and their relatives, we obtain your personal data verbally, in writing, visually, or electronically through Call Centers, the internet, mobile applications, physical locations, and similar channels, depending on the nature of the service provided. Within this context, personal data necessary for the execution of all medical diagnosis, examination, treatment, and care services, and personal health data obtained for this purpose, are primarily listed below;
- Your name, surname,
- Your TC ID number,
- If you are not a Turkish citizen, your passport number or temporary TC ID number, your place and date of birth, your marital status, your gender information, and your TC Identification Card or Driver's License photocopy that you present,
- Your address, phone number, email address, and other contact information,
- Your bank account number, IBAN number, and other financial data,
- Your voice call recordings when you contact our Call Center,
- Your history, responses, and comments shared for evaluating our services,
- Your laboratory and imaging results, test results, examination data, prescription information, and other health and sexual life-related data obtained during the execution of medical diagnosis, treatment, and care services,
- Your closed-circuit camera system image and sound recordings during your visit to our hospital,
- Social Security Institution data for the planning and financing of health services,
- Your Private Health Insurance and Supplementary Health Insurance data,

Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data and special categories of personal data mentioned above are processed for the following purposes:
- Execution of medical diagnosis, treatment, and care services,

- Monitoring and preventing misuse and unauthorized transactions by Audit and Information Systems departments,
- Risk management and quality improvement activities by Quality, Patient Experience, and Information Systems departments,
- Billing for our services by Hospital Services, Financial Affairs, and Marketing departments,
- Confirmation of your relationship with institutions with which our hospital has agreements by Hospital Services, Financial Affairs, and Marketing departments,
- Responding to any questions and complaints regarding our healthcare services by Patient Experience, Patient Rights, and Call Center departments,
- Implementation of all necessary technical and administrative measures for data security of our hospital systems and applications by Information Systems departments,
- Participation in campaigns and provision of campaign information by Corporate Marketing, Media and Communication, and Call Center departments, designing and communicating special content, tangible and intangible benefits on web and mobile channels,
- Measurement, improvement, and research of patient satisfaction by Patient Rights and Patient Experience departments,
Your Personal and Special Category Data mentioned above will be meticulously kept in compliance with the legislation in physical and electronic archives within the body of Özel Sani Konukoğlu Hospital and external service providers.
Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred to; the Ministry of Health, its affiliated units, field organizations, and family health centers, private insurance companies (health, retirement, life insurance, etc.), Supplementary Health Insurance Companies, Turkish Pharmacists Association, Social Security Institution, Law enforcement agencies (General Directorate of Security, etc.), General Directorate of Population, Judicial authorities, Laboratories, medical centers, ambulances, medical device and healthcare institutions we cooperate with for medical diagnosis and treatment domestically or internationally, the institution to which the patient is referred or applied by the patient, legal representatives you have authorized, your doctors and advisors including tax consultants and auditors, Regulatory, supervisory bodies, and official authorities, systems within or outside the country, and/or educational institutions and other companies within SANKO HOLDING A.Ş, our hospital collaborates with, your employer, our suppliers, support service providers, archive service providers, and business partners (you can obtain more detailed information by applying to our hospital in writing).
Method and Legal Grounds of Personal Data Collection
Your personal data is collected and processed in any verbal, written, visual, or electronic environment within the legal framework for the purpose of carrying out all kinds of work related to the Özel Sani Konukoğlu Hospital's activity subject, and to fulfill the contractual and legal obligations of our hospital in a complete and proper manner. The legal grounds for the collection of this personal data are;

Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
In accordance with Article 11 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, as the data subject, you can apply to our hospital and benefit from the following rights regarding your personal data:

- Requesting information if personal data is processed,
- Access to personal health data and requesting these data,
- Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used appropriately for their purpose,
- Knowing the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
- Requesting correction if personal data are incomplete or incorrect,
- Requesting deletion or destruction of personal data,
- Requesting notification of correction, deletion, or destruction of personal data to third parties to whom personal data are transferred in case of correction of incomplete or incorrect processing of data,
- Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- Demanding compensation if personal data are processed unlawfully and damages occur.
