Ali KOLUSARI-Gynaecological Oncology

Born in Azarcık in 1974, Prof. Dr Ali Kolusarı graduated from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. In 2004, he received his speciality in Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics. After working as a specialist at the same university for about a year, he was appointed as an assistant professor.

In 2006, she worked in Hacettepe University on Gynaecological Oncology. In 2008, she worked in the field of Gynaecological Oncology at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In 2010, she received the title of ‘associate professor’.

In 2011, Prof. Dr. Kolusarı worked in the Department of Gynaecological Oncology at University College London Hospital in the UK and received the title of ‘professor’ in 2015. In 2016, he worked at Medipol University on ‘Application of robotic surgery in the treatment of gynaecological cancers’.

In 2019, he worked in the field of oncofertility at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Department of Reproductive Endocrinology and received an in vitro fertilisation (IVF) certificate.

Between April 2019 and November 2021, Prof. Dr. Kolusarı, who worked as the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine, continued to serve in his own clinic in Van since December 2021.

Prof. Dr. Kolusarı started to accept patients as a consultant physician in the field of Gynecological Oncology Surgery at SANKO University Hospital as of September 2024.

Turkish Gynecology and Obstetrics Association, Turkey Infertility Foundation, Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Gynecological Oncology Association, Turkish Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Association, Cervical Pathologies and Colposcopy Association, Gynecological Endoscopy Association. Prof. Dr. Kolusarı is married and has two children.
