M. Metin BAYRAM

He was born in 1957 in Gaziantep. He completed his primary and secondary education in Gaziantep. He started his medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1976 and graduated in 1982. He completed his compulsory service in Tokat's Zile District and his military service in Ankara GATA.

After his military service, he started his specialization training at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Radiology in 1985. After completing his specialty training at the end of 1989, he became the founder and head of the Radiology Department at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine in the same year. Assoc. was appointed to the staff. Continuing his academic career at Gaziantep University, he received the title of "Associate Professor" in 1995 and "Professor" in 2002.

During his time at Gaziantep University, he undertook various administrative and academic duties besides the Head of the Department. During his tenure, he provided training to 58 Medical Specialization students and contributed to their becoming specialists.

He has more than 60 published studies in international peer-reviewed journals and more than 200 published in national peer-reviewed journals. He has received over 400 citations to his international scientific studies.

prof. Dr. Bayram still works as the Vice-Chancellor and Head of Radiology Department at SANKO University. His professional interests include Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology. He is married and has three children.
