Mehmet ALMACIOĞLU

Born in Gaziantep, Dr. Mehmet Almacıoğlu completed his elementary, middle, and high school education in the same city. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Gaziantep University in 2007. Following his mandatory service, he completed his residency training in the Department of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, Gaziantep University, in 2014.

Dr. Almacıoğlu, who served as a state-mandated physician at Kilis State Hospital, treated patients at SANKO University Hospital from 2016 to 2024. From 2018 to 2024, he also served as a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics at SANKO University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2024 and 2026, he completed advanced specialty training in pediatric intensive care and conducted scientific research at the Istanbul Bakırköy Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital.

Dr. Almacıoğlu’s primary areas of interest in pediatric health and diseases include: healthy infant and child follow-up, newborn health and maternal counseling, lung diseases, asthma and allergic conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, growth and development issues, thyroid and adolescent disorders, and febrile illnesses; He also continues his research on vitamin and mineral supplements for children, as well as sedation and analgesia.

Dr. Almacıoğlu, who is married and the father of two children, is a member of the Turkish Pediatric Society and the European and Turkish Allergy and Immunology Societies, and presents scientific research at their conferences.
