Mustafa Yıldırım

He was born in Gaziantep in 1977. He studied at 25 December Primary School, Ertuğrul Gazi Primary School and Gaziantep Vehbi Dinçerler Science High School.

He started his education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1994 and completed it in 2000. Dr. Yıldırım started his Internal Medicine Specialization training at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1994. Assoc. Dr. Yıldırım completed his Internal Medicine Specialization training in 2006 with his thesis titled “The Prognostic Importance of Gravin Expression in Acute Leukemias”.

Fulfilling his compulsory state service obligation in Malatya- Arapgir State Hospital between 2006-2008 and his military service in Antalya in 2008, Prof. Dr. Yıldırım started his medical oncology sub-branch training in Antalya Training and Research Hospital Medical Oncology Clinic in 2009. prof. Dr. Yıldırım completed his Medical Oncology minor training in 2012 with his thesis titled “The Prognostic Importance of P53 and Bcl-2 Expression in Stomach Cancer”, and fulfilled the obligation of compulsory public service in Medical Oncology at Batman Regional State Hospital.

He received the title of Associate Professor in the field of Internal Diseases (Medical Oncology) in 2014, when he started to work as a Medical Oncology Specialist in a private health institution in Gaziantep. Dr. Yıldırım completed his PhD in Biochemistry, which he started at Gaziantep University, Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Medical Biochemistry the same year, in 2019.

Working as a faculty member in the Department of Internal Diseases at a private university between 2014-2020, Prof. Dr. Yıldırım is fluent in English. Married with three children, Prof. Dr. Yıldırım accepts patients at SANKO University Hospital Internal Medicine / Medical Oncology Clinic.
