Orhan ÖZDEMİR

Dr Özdemir, Assistant Lecturer, was born in Gaziantep in 1988. He completed his primary, secondary and sixth-form education in Gaziantep. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Sivas Cumhuriyet University in 2013. He completed his compulsory service in the district of İslahiye, Gaziantep, between 2013 and 2014.

He completed his specialist training between 2014 and 2018 at the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Gaziantep University. He completed his compulsory service at Ürgüp State Hospital in 2018. Between 2018 and 2021, he completed his subspecialty training in the Department of Nephrology at the Faculty of Medicine, Gaziantep University. He completed his compulsory service at Şanlıurfa Training and Research Hospital between 2022 and 2025. Appointed to Gaziantep City Hospital in 2025, Dr Özdemir has begun seeing patients as a Specialist in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at SANKO University Hospital.

Dr Özdemir, who holds numerous courses and certificates related to her profession, has published scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals, presented papers at national and international congresses, and authored book and journal chapters; He was awarded first prize for an oral presentation at the National Hypertension and Kidney Diseases Congress in both 2019 and 2020.

Dr Özdemir, who is married and the father of two children, is a board member of the Turkish Society of Nephrology, the ERA (European Renal Association), the Turkish Medical Association, the Gaziantep-Kilis Medical Chamber and the Kidney Association.
