Göktürk MARALCAN

He was born in Adana in 1964. After his undergraduate studies, he successfully completed his medical education at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialization in Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery and became a General Surgery Specialist. Continuing his academic career at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery, Dr. Maralcan received the title of professor at the same university. One semester; Serving his patients in his private practice, Prof. Dr. During his academic life, Maralcan attended many courses and worked as a trainee and instructor.

prof. Dr. Maralcan also worked in a well-known center abroad for a short time. He made presentations about his profession in many scientific meetings, and took part in the organization of scientific meetings in addition to being the chairman of the session in many of them.

Having a membership in many associations in the field of General Surgery, Prof. Dr. Maralcan has many scientific works published in international and domestic refereed journals.

Working mainly in the fields of Endocrine System Diseases Surgery and Breast Diseases surgery, Prof. Dr. Maralcan also offers its patients its experiences in other fields of General Surgery.

Working as the Head of General Surgery Department at SANKO University Faculty of Medicine since September 2017, Prof. Dr. As of the same period, Maralcan started to accept patients at SANKO University Hospital.
