Zeynel Abidin SAYİNER

He was born in 1983 in Ankara. He graduated from high school at Gaziantep College Foundation. In 2009, he graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine.

He completed his speciality training in the Department of Internal Medicine at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine between 2009-2014, and completed his sub-speciality training in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine between 2015-2018.

Assoc. Prof. Dr Sayiner went to the United States of America with the scholarship he won during his education process. He worked as a researcher at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA. Between 2018-2020, he completed his compulsory service in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases sub-branch at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Training and Research Hospital.

In 2020, he started to work as a ‘Doctor Faculty Member’ at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine. In 2021, he received the title of ‘Associate Professor’. Between 2020-2024, he worked at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases.

He is a member of Turkish Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases and Endocrine Society Associations. He received the first prize in 2022 and the third prize in 2024 in the best scientific research field of the Endocrinology and Metabolism Society.

Assoc. Prof Sayiner has nearly 50 publications published in national and international refereed journals. He has supervised many Medical Speciality theses. He has been involved in many national and international projects including 1001 project supported by TUBITAK.
